The Red Room

The lady shows some attitude. I like it that way.

The concept was nailed quite quickly in my sketchbook, then scanned and finished in photoshop. I wanted to keep the triangular composition very simple and not clutter the image with any unnecessary detailing.
This Illustration was a big step forward for me and I spent quite some time on it to get it done this way. It was really hard for me to get the shading as good as I could. I know its not perfect, but that still leaves some room for improvement on my next piece!
